What is Explorations?
Explorations Learning Center believes that integrating core content into high-interest and hands-on subjects is the most effective way to prepare students for the real world and foster a life long love of learning.
Our mission is to captivate students with fun, engaging, and carefully planned courses to promote critical thinking and acquisition of practical life skills. All lessons are immersive experiences where students create and innovate by manipulating the materials in front of them.

Our goal is to walk alongside homeschool families to support and enrich their student's education. All school-aged students are welcome to enroll in any one of the varied private classes we offer. Courses will be offered as a six week series, with new classes added after each block. Check our calendar frequently to see new course offerings.

Explorations is a registered vendor through both Idea and Connection's Academy and course fees can be paid directly through them. Students will register for a complete six week course and Explorations will bill at the end of every second week.
​
Course fees cover all instruction and materials for the six weeks. Each session block we will showcase what students have learned and produced through the course by welcoming families to attend a Celebration of Learning.

Ryan Martin
Program Director and Instructor

I started my career in education working in the classroom for 6 years. Feeling called to serve the community in a different way, I discovered my passion for bringing integrated lessons to families to engage students and encourage a love of lifelong discovery. All courses create connections across academic content while enriching student learning with real-life skills. Student-centered courses provide rich experiences in culinary, visual and performance arts, as well as scientific discovery to foster connections to the real world.
